Iyengar Workshop

In stillness, the practice of yoga finds its true essence. The mind settles into the present moment, and the body flows effortlessly through the postures. Pratyahara draws the senses inward, allowing for deeper meditation. Eagle pose twists the body into focus, while shavasana restores and rejuvenates. With gratitude, the practice ends, but the peace and balance remain.

Meditation & Gong Bath

AT THE SHALA YOGA STUDIO

Friday, 17 August, 5:00pm – 7:30pm

Asanas flow like water, surya namaskar honoring the light within. Inhalation expands the chest, creating space for prana to circulate freely. As the body flows into downward dog, the mind quiets, and the soul finds rest.

WHAT TO BRING

Pratyahara draws the senses inward, allowing for deeper meditation.

  • Namaste sun salutation tadasana breath, pranayama flowing through the asanas. Savasana grounding energy, vinyasa moving like the wind.
  • Deep inhale, exhale into warrior pose, as mind and body align with the flow of prana. Sukhasana seated in stillness, observing the mind like the clouds drifting across the sky.
  • Balance is found in tree pose.
